Theft

Deputies are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a woman who is believed to be involved in multiple thefts.

On July 31, 2021, at 3:30 p.m., deputies responded to Wine World in the 400 block of Constant Friendship Blvd in Abingdon for the report of a theft. Upon arrival, deputies were informed an unknown female entered the store at approximately 2:45 p.m., filled a backpack, and fled the store without paying for items. She was seen getting into a black Ford Escape.

Later that evening at approximately 6:10 p.m., deputies responded to Shoe City in the 1800 block of Pulaski Highway in Edgewood for report of a theft. Upon arrival deputies were informed an unknown female entered the store at approximately 5:10 p.m., placed several items in a bag, and left the store without paying for them.

Deputies believe the incidents are connected.

Anyone who has information is asked to call the Harford County Sheriff’s Office.
