Two men are in custody after being charged in the February 5, 2021 shooting of Terrell Wilson in the Perrywood area of Aberdeen.
On Friday, February 5, at approximately 1:53 p.m., deputies assigned to the Southern Precinct of the Harford County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 300 block of Mayberry Drive in Aberdeen for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, deputies located two injured individuals, Terrell Wilson, 20, of Middle River, suffering from a single gunshot wound to the upper body, and Maleek Hawkins, 22, also of Middle River, suffering from a head injury. Wilson was transported to the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, and Hawkins was treated by medics at the scene.
Through investigation, detectives with the Harford County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division developed multiple suspects. Detectives arrested Tariq Scott, 21, of Edgewood, on February 11, 2021. Two additional suspects, Terel Hubbard, 19, and Knowledge Wallace, 21, both of Aberdeen, were identified. On February 5, 2021, warrants were issued for their arrest. All three were charged with attempted first and second degree murder, first and second degree assault and other related charges.
On April 1, 2021, working on information developed by the Harford County Sheriff’s Office Warrant Unit, the U.S. Marshall’s Task Force took Hubbard and Wallace into custody at a residence in Orangeburg, South Carolina. Both are in custody and awaiting extradition to Harford County.
